Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ZambiaWide (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These terms are between you and BIT Zambia (Goldman House Properties, Lusaka, Zambia), the operator of ZambiaWide.

2. What ZambiaWide Is

ZambiaWide is a marketplace platform that connects businesses with logistics service providers. We are not a logistics company, transport operator, clearing agent, or courier service. We do not employ the providers listed on the Platform, and we are not a party to any transaction between a user and a provider.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to act on behalf of any business you register on the Platform.

4. Provider Accounts

  • Each user may operate one company listing. Creating multiple listings for the same business is prohibited.
  • Information in your listing must be accurate and kept up to date.
  • Verification status (the "Verified" badge) is awarded at ZambiaWide's sole discretion following document review and can be revoked if information is found to be inaccurate.
  • Subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started.
  • Listing claims are subject to review and approval by ZambiaWide staff. Submitting a false claim is grounds for account suspension.

5. Customer Accounts

  • Inquiries and quote requests must be genuine. Sending spam or irrelevant inquiries may result in account suspension.
  • Reviews must reflect your honest experience. Fake, defamatory, or incentivised reviews are prohibited.
  • Review content is moderated. ZambiaWide reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these terms.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
  • Impersonate any person or entity.
  • Upload malicious code or interfere with the Platform's operation.
  • Scrape or systematically extract data from the Platform without written permission.
  • Use the Platform to compete with ZambiaWide by building a similar directory or marketplace.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.

7. Intellectual Property

The ZambiaWide name, logo, and Platform content are the property of BIT Zambia. You may not reproduce or use them without written permission. By submitting content to the Platform (including your business profile, photos, and reviews), you grant ZambiaWide a non-exclusive licence to display that content on the Platform and in marketing materials.

8. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW).
  • Subscriptions do not auto-renew — you must purchase a new subscription when yours expires.
  • Payments are processed securely by Flutterwave. ZambiaWide does not store your card details.
  • Receipts are available for download from your dashboard.
  • Subscription fees are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

9. Disclaimers

ZambiaWide provides the Platform on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy of provider listings, the quality of services provided by listed companies, or the outcome of any transaction between a user and a provider.

Verification badges indicate that a provider has submitted documents for review — they do not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of quality, licensing, or solvency.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Zambian law, BIT Zambia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or reliance on any provider listed on it. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any unused subscription period.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zambia.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or an in-platform notice. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.
